Me too, TJ. “Oh how I love him.” Ever since that day (I think we told you about that), long ago when he was a young stallion and he walked right up to the front of our pickup to stare directly at us through the front windshield for awhile. My heart was his from that moment. He just seemed to connect with us for some reason. He also once walked up close to me while I was standing, watching him from afar – close enough I could hear the grass squeak as he pulled it out for a snack. He kind of helped alleviate the grief after losing Chrome. Lots to like with this guy…including his muddy adornments!
Buckeye is fearless like that! Has been his whole life. 🙂 He’s just a curious boy, and life has not taught him to fear humans. I frequently find myself calling him “Grey” by mistake. Ha. 🙂
